Grief Yoga is a unique online class that gently integrates breath, sound, movement, dance, and yoga to help you navigate the complex emotions of grief. Whether you're grieving a loss, a transition, or a profound life change, this practice offers a safe and supportive space to explore and release the emotions held within your body.

What to Expect in a Grief Yoga Class

  • A Gentle and Accessible Practice
Grief Yoga is not about achieving the perfect posture or mastering complex poses. It’s about tuning into your body, moving with intention, and honoring your own experience. The class is open to everyone, regardless of yoga experience or physical ability, and can even be done entirely from a chair.
  • Breath and Sound to Release Emotions
Guided breathing techniques and the use of sound help you connect with your emotions and release tension stored in the body. These simple practices are deeply soothing and grounding.
  • Movement and Dance to Reconnect
Gentle yoga movements and expressive dance provide a way to release grief and reconnect with a sense of vitality. You’ll be encouraged to move in ways that feel natural and healing for you.
  • A Space for Peace and Empowerment
Through this 60-75 minute class, you may find moments of peace, empowerment, or even liberation from the weight of grief. The goal is not to "fix" grief but to help you carry it with greater ease and grace.
